Immediately the marmaids took my sons and disappeared through the mirror, my daughter came in shouting:
“Mummy! mummy!”
I grabbed her and covered her mouth at the same time in an attempt to hide her from those marmaids to see but unfortunately, they all saw her before I could cover her mouth. “Oh! You also have a daughter?” The princess marmaid said in a tune that sounded like a question and also a statement.
“Don’t you dare lay your hands on her” My husband shouted and tried to come after the princess marmaid but he couldn’t move neither his hands nor his legs. He seemed like he was glued to the ground because nobody was holding him.
“What a beautiful daughter you have here” The princess marmaid said and started to come closer to my daughter and I.
“Don’t go close to my daughter!” My husband shouted again.
“And if I go close to her; what can you do? You are no longer a mermaid. You are now a human and without being a marmaid, you have no powers!”
“I’m warning you! Don’t go close to my daughter!” My husband shouted again and struggled to free himself but couldn’t.
The princess marmaid looked at him and laughed, then she ignored him and continue coming closer to my daughter and I. When she got to us, she bent down to my daughter’s height and started looking at her.
“Don’t you dare do anything to my daughter, Elia!” My husband shouted while struggling to free himself. He was like someone that was tied with rope from head to toes and at the same time magically pinned to the floor. He kept struggling for his freedom but couldn’t get himself freed. At a point, he stopped and lowered his head, feeling helpless.
Tears clouded in my eyes and started to roll down my cheeks. Seeing how my husband is feeling powerless and humiliated, I started to feel pity for him and I didn’t know when I started to cry.
“Little one, will you like to go on adventure with me? To see your beautiful new house your father has been hiding from you?” The marmaid princess asked my daughter.
“I don’t want to go with you! I want to stay with my mummy” My daughter cried out while hiding her face behind my clothes at interver so she would not be seeing the marmaids.
“Oh poor thing! She wants to stay with her mummy” The princess marmaid said and gave out a loud short laughter.
“Please leave us alone!” I said with fear.
“I’m not here for you woman! I’m here for what belongs to me!” The marmaid told me angrily. She turned and looked fiercely at my husband for a moment then she turned back and faced my daughter. And with a fake smile on her face, she said to my daughter:
“Go with me my dear; I will take you to a beautiful place where you will have a fun adventure and see many exciting things to play with. you will like where I’m going to take you to. Your Daddy is coming with me and your brothers have already gone; they are probably having lots of funs right now” The marmaid said in a smooth a d sweet tune.
“Really?” My daughter shouted in excitement. I didn’t know what sounded exciting to her and I got provoke seeing her excited.
“Yes really!” The princess marmaid answered excitedly too. Even though she didn’t really mean it. She was just faking her smile.
“You will become a princess and you will wear a princess crown and beautiful dress like mine. And because your father is a prince of our kingdom and his father who is your grandfather is the King; you will have super powers”
“Oh! I want to have super powers!” My daughter shouted excitedly. “But I don’t want to leave my mummy” She added and held me tight, hiding her face behind my wrapper. I was pissed off already, after hearing what the princess marmaid said.
“I don’t get it!” I said looking at at the marmaid angrily and confused. “What do you mean my husband is the prince of your kingdom and his father is the king?” I asked, anxiously.
“Oh he didn’t tell you?” The princess marmaid asked me and then turned to Frank.
” You didn’t tell your human wife that you are the prince of our kingdom?. I reckon you didn’t also tell her that you are married”
“He is married?” I shouted in surprise and in shock, looking at the marmaid. Then I turned to my husband.
“Frank! You are married?”
“Frank? Is that the name he told you?” The princess marmaid asked me, then she turned to my husband.
“You also lied to your human wife that your name is Frank. You didn’t tell your real name? You are such a lier and a deceiver, Lucas!”
“I never wanted to marry you, Elia! You and my father forced me to” My husband shouted at the princess marmaid. Tears was already rolling down my eyes.
“I won’t let you go free for this, Lucas!” The marmaid angrily said to my husband and bent towards my daughter who was still hiding her face behind my wrapper.
“Honey, look at me; look into my eyes” the marmaid princess beckoned my daughter to look at her.
“Gabby my angel don’t look at her! Don’t look into her eyes” My husband shouted to my daughter.
“Don’t you want to go for a fun adventure? Don’t you want to see your brothers? Don’t you want to be a princess and have super powers?” The princess marmaid asked my daughter politely. Her eyes began to sparkle green and red colour. Her hand began to bring lightening.
“Look into my eyes my princess!” She said to my daughter again.
“Honey, don’t look at her!” My husband shouted and tried so hard to free himself but couldn’t.
“Don’t look at her, Gabby darling” I said and grabb my daughter but at the cause of grabbing her, the princess marmaid held my daughter’s face and she looked into her eyes and immediately, my daughter disappeared.
