Nurse Bella looked at the Tech guy she had known for quite a while and wondered what was wrong with the way he appeared.

โYou wonโt believe it Ben, but a nร sty attempt was made on this old woman, and the MD is concerned about how negatively this would have affected the hospital if things had really gone southโ Bella told him.
โWait nurse Bella, did you say an attempt was made on the old woman? Like, does that mean what I think it means? Someone tried to terminate the old womanโs life?โ he asked in askance.

โYouโre right. I should go now, since the MD has given a specific instruction on the people allowed entry into the ward. Iโll come back after the woman has regained consciousness and the strict order, relaxedโ Ben said and left the ward.

โHow could I not have known that there must be something more to it than her excuse of having been nร ked in the ward for long, before she realized there were cameras everywhere?

He recalled how Mandy had walked into his office and told him she needed him to help her wipe of the footages for a particular ward. In her words,

Ben planned to find out the indications of the substance Mandy had asked him to place over the womanโs face, but decided against it.
He got out his phone, took a shot of the sachet of the substance and used Google mirror to find other related images.
The results he got not only confirmed his suspicion that Mandy had been the one who made the move on the woman, it made him fear greatly, to what extent she could go to get what she wants.
He picked up his phone and decided to give Mandy a call. She picked up almost immediately and asked if he was back to his office.
