Joy came back from church at around twelve only to find the sister lying on the couch
She stared at her for almost a minute and Joyline just ignored her
“Jesus Joyline is everything okay? You look terrible”

“Okay so where did you sleep because have been worried about you and have even tried to call you several times but you were not picking my calls”

Chris was still seated in his house while watching,he too was thinking whether to call Joyline and inform her that he had decided to leave her that morning but that obviously was a stupid idea so he sat still hoping that she won’t remember anything,just then his phone rang
He picked the phone from his pocket only to realize that it was Joyline calling.He received the call although he was panicking
“Hello babe,how are you?” Joyline had asked after he had immediately picked the call
“Hello I am fine,how are you?”
“Well I am not good at all”
“What? Why? what is wrong?”
“I am not feeling well,I wanted to inquire if you were the one that took me to the hotel room yesternight”
“What do you mean you aren’t feeling well and what do you mean by I took you to a hotel room yesternight?” he had said pretending not to have a slight idea of what might have occurred
“Well I woke up this morning in a hotel room alone having an headache and worst of it all,I don’t remember anything”
“Babe I can’t leave you in a hotel room alone,if I had taken you there we would have left together this morning.I remember last night after we were drank I wanted to take you home but you told me that you will take a taxi that would lead you home and that I should just leave that you will be okay,so you want to tell me that you may have slept with another man without knowing on our first day of our relationship?”
“No that is not what I meant,You know what,don’t worry it was just a prank to try and scare you” she said and ended the call
“So we went to a bar yesternight and there is a possibility that a man took advantage of how I was drank and took me to a hotel room without my consent, something isn’t adding up somewhere but if it is true I am surely finished,I may be pregnant or most likely I contracted infections, Ooh Joyline What did you do?” she had whispered to herself
Just then the sister came out and angrily called her inside.She had been calling her for sometime now but she was in deep thoughts that she couldn’t hear the sister calling
“So she doesn’t remember anything, stupid Joyline,I am not carrying the cross of the pregnancy infact I want to make sure I breakup with her before she decides to pin the pregnancy on me” Chris had told himself
