Damian didn’t bother to reply, instead he lean towards her and capture her lips once again.
“Mr Brooks!” June called, using her hand to cover her mouth. “If you think that am going to repay you for your help by sleeping with you then you’ve got the wrong…..” A gasp left her lips when he pulled off her hand to kiss her again and this time, he deepen the kiss, exploring every inch of her lips.
They were both breathing deeply when the kiss ended.
“I won’t ever ask you to repay me by sleeping with me and the name is Damian….get some sleep” he said and left the room.
June lay on the bed, trying to calm her racing heart….why is she getting all giddy from a kiss? She should know by now that men are all the same and just as Wayne has hurt her anyone else can.
Damian Brooks is from a different world and he has Mitchell by his side, a girl who loves him….so she shouldn’t be swayed by him.
June went to sleep with that last thought in mind but when she woke up the next day to find a pair of arms around her, her heart began it’s crazy rhythm.
She turn as gently as she can to stare at a sleeping Damian, he had nothing on apart from night shorts which did nothing to hide the muscular leg in it.
She was tempted to push him away from her but that thought soon dissipate when Damian open his eyes.
June shut her eyes, pretending to be asleep. She could feel his gaze on her and when he lightly touch her lips, she force herself not to react.
He kiss her on the cheek and got out of the bed to get dress and through this, June kept pretending to be asleep.
Unknown to her, Damian knew she wasn’t asleep but decided to feign ignorance, after fixing his tie, he pick up his briefcase and left the room.
June on the other hand sat up after hearing the door recalling the kiss he gave her.
It will be bad if he falls for her….he shouldn’t even be attracted to her, he should just… The best thing will be for her to leave his room, she thought as she got out of bed to head to the guest room her family are using.

Wayne was lounging around in the room he book for himself when he heard the door bell, knowing who it was, he quickly went to open the door only to recieve a punch which sent him sprawl on the floor.
” RJ” Wayne called, holding onto his face.
“Why the hell is she with Damian? Why is she with him” This so called RJ ask with pent up anger.
“I was bringing her to you last night but Damian came out of nowhere and took her away, I could do nothing to stop him and so….” Wayne stop when RJ pick him roughly off the floor.
“When I told you that I wanted June, you gave your price and I gave you the money, I even doubled it and now you are giving me excuses. Tell me why I shouldn’t turn you in to the police?” RJ demanded.
“Don’t do that RJ. I will bring June to you as you want, now that I know she’s with Damian, I will get her back and bring her to you ” Wayne pleaded.
“You better bring her to me or you will regret it” RJ threaten before leaving the room.
Wayne got off the floor, wiping the blood off his lips while wondering how he will get June away from Damian.
Teresa, June’s friend came to mind and he smiled and brought out his phone to dial her number.
“Hello Teresa” Wayne said.
“How dare a scum like you call me after what you did to June!” Teresa yell down the line.
“I know what I did and I don’t regret it since I benefitted a lot of money from it and you can too if you help me” Wayne told her.
“I’d rather die than to help…”
“Does a million sound pleasant to your ears? I promise to give you a million if you help me with a task of mine, will you do it?” Wayne ask and knowing how much Teresa love money, she’s definitely not going to resist his offer……
