Everybody’s mood swung. Mama and Pastor Fred exchanged a shocking glance. They turned to me. I was as dumbfounded as they were.
“What do you mean by you know?”. Pastor Fred broke the long silence after Westley’s bewildering discovery.
“I got to know some months ago, but I didn’t believe it, two months ago when I saw Genevieve, my wife rebuking my driver for proposing marriage to her, since she’s carrying his baby”. Westley paused. His voice now shaking with a stormy anger. His eyes turned red and sweat dripping profusely. I covered my mouth in an overwhelming shock. Mama and Pastor Fred hid shrugged and shook their heads in shame and pity.
“Why then did you keep showering me with so much gifts and love?”. I asked him, sobbing. He gently raised his head and violently stared at me.

Westley’s last statement left everyone astounded. He quickly called the gateman. The gateman ran into the house.
“Bring in my wife. Tell her to come immediately”. Westley told the gateman who nodded sharply and ran off. I was still kneeling, confused and almost running mad. Mama and Pastor Fred stood speechless. All of us kept mute waiting for the shock.
