???? My Past Mistake Episode TWO:
I made sure I told my dad about that statement and my dad commanded her to kneel down and apologize to me in the principal’s office and she did.
I haven’t told you guys about what happened in the church one Sunday. I was a very brilliant girl no doubt, so I always wanted people to treat me as that all knowing child, I didn’t like it when another child outshine me, especially if that child is from the low class family.
And so one Sunday in the children’s department during our Sunday school. Our teacher asked me to reside a gospel poem he taught us and I didn’t remember everything, so one boy took the poem from me and started residing it.
When I saw that all attention was on him and people were beginning to cheer him up, I furiously walked up to him and landed him a resounding slap.
How dare him outshined me.
Our teacher wasn’t happy with what I did and so he asked me to apologize to the boy, but I refused, after all I was the boss and bosses don’t apologize. The man who was a father of three had to spank me with a small stick and said don’t be stubborn in my class.
That Sunday heaven broke loose, I screamed like someone who’s neck was cut off with knife. My parents heard my voice and quickly rushed down to see what the problem was, only for them to found out that one lowly life touched their only child.
My dad exploded like a nuclear bomb, my mom on the other hand was busy creating a scene with her dramatic display, she was shouting and interrupting the church service asking for justice for me.
She didn’t just want to take action so people won’t see her as a bad person and so she was shouting and asking for justice. She recounted how that she was looking for the fruit of the womb for good twenty years, she told them how she was ridiculed and mocked for years before God gave me to her.
The whole place was in total confusion as everyone were busy blaming my Sunday school teacher for beating me.
