After mathematics, Remita became really tired. Plus the students were making noise. Some were busy gisting about celebrities, some were taking selfies,some were busy stealing glances at Red. Genesis was talking to Tasha.
Jeremy watched Genesis. He wanted her to be his girlfriend so badly. He likes Genesis so much. Daniel checked his wristwatch.
“If you really like her bro, just tell her. Don’t watch her till she becomes someone else’s girlfriend” said Daniel.Jeremy became scared as soon as Daniel said that.
“C’mon Daniel, it isn’t that easy. i am trying i am just scared she might reject me” Jeremy said and Red heard.
“You are a guy. you shouldn’t be scared ” Red said.
Then the bell jingled.
“Lunch time, This is the perfect time to tell her” Daniel said.
The students went out.
“Hey! Genesis. I think Jeremy wants to tell you something” Daniel said.
Genesis turned back at Jeremy.
Daniel and red went out leaving Genesis, Jeremy and Remita in class. Remita placed her head on the table and she slept off.
Genesis adjusted her button and went to Jeremy’s seat at the back.
“hi Jeremy!” Genesis said with smile.Jeremy smiled.”Hi” he replied.
They kept smiling at each other.”Daniel said you wanted to tell me something. So spill it!” genesis said.
Then Jeremy moved closer to genesis and touched her hair. Genesis felt her heart beating. “uh? what are you…doing?”Genesis stuttered but Jeremy kissed her on the lips.
She felt butterflies in her stomach.Jeremy disengage from the kiss. “I love you Genesis” Jeremy said and waited for Genesis to reply.
Obviously,Genesis loves jeremy too but she was scared that he might not love her back.
“I love you too, Jeremy” Genesis said.
“So is that a yes?” Jeremy asks to be sure. “yes” Genesis replied.
Jeremy carried her up and kissed her.
Their noise woke Remita up. She turned back just to see jeremy and Genesis kissing passionately.
~ oh heavens! even Genesis too? ~ Remita thought and nodded negatively.
She went out of the class but she met Vincent on her way.
Vincent stared at her for a while. Remita began to shake. Then she attempted to leave but Vincent pulled her back and rested her back on the wall.
“Would you like us to kiss too?” Vincent said and licked his lips.
Remita stared at Vincent in confusion.
Then Vincent brought his hands closer to Remita’s face but someone held his hand.
Vincent and Remita turned to the person. it turned out to be Red. “What do you think you are doing?” Red said almost getting angry. Then Red pulled Remita away from Vincent.
“What does it look like I am doing?” Vincent said and fold his arms. “You are not allowed to touch even her hair” Red said.
Vincent hijacked his hands from Red. “How does it matter to you if i touch her. is she yours?” Vincent said. “look here Vincent, i dont care about what we have shared together in the past, but am warning you to stay away from her.” red said and left with Remita.
Vincent became really angry at Red. “I swear I will still get you Remita. if you don’t wanna do what I say. i will force you” Vincent muttered.
Throughout their conversations, Naomi was busy looking at them. She was really angry and for the fact that Red did not notice her.
Red took Remita to his locker room and closed the door. “Why are you so naive Remita? Why did you allow him to touch you? Listen to me, no one is allowed to touch you not even a strand of your hair” Red said. it was obvious he is overprotective of Remita.
~ Why is he getting angry all of a sudden because a guy tried to touch me? We are not even close!~ Remita thought.
Remita was confused. Then Red touched Remita’s face. Remita coughed out.
She coughed continuously. Red became scared. “Are you okay?” Red asked.
Then she stopped coughing.
“I am okay” Remita speaked for the first time in 15 years. Her voice sounded so angelic and beautiful. It sounded like music.
Suddenly Red turned back. She heard a lady.
Remita covered her mouth. She looked around to see who talked. Even Red did the same thing.
“I am okay” Remita said for the second time again.
Red widened his eyes in shock.
“You talked? impossible!” Red said and beamed with smile.
“Yes! I talked. no wait! I am still talking! I am still talking!” Remita squealed and jumped on Red in happiness.
Red hugged Remita tightly.
Remita realized she was hugging Red. Then she disengaged from the hug. “But how did that happen?” Red asked.
“I don’t know..you touched me, I coughed and I started talking” Remita said in a low tone.
Then tears of joy rolled down Remita’s cheek. Red cleaned it with his hand.
She hugged Red again then the kissing scene appeared in her memory again then she disengaged from the hug and became scared of Red again.
Remita moved away from Red. Red moved closer to her then Remita got frightened she ran out of Red’s room.
“Wait!” Red said and went out of his locker room.
Remita didn’t know where she was going she just continued walking. Then she bumped into Sophie on the way. She fell on the floor.
“you bitch! You are so clumsy” Sophie said.
Remita stood up.
“Because i wasn’t able to talk doesn’t mean I won’t be able to talk forever. so watch what you say to me” Remita said loud and clear.
Sophie widened her eyes in shock ????
