“Where’s my baby?” A worried Stephanie walk towards her family accompanied by Stella.
She was still with Stella at the restaurant when Susan called to tell her about Fiona.
“She’s in the emergency room and the doctor isn’t here yet” Susan said, wiping away her tears.
“This is why we need a new heart? I can’t bear to watch her suffer anymore” Stephanie said, bursting into tears and David got up to hug her.
He and Stella exchange a knowing look but they didn’t say a thing to each other.
“Shhh…it’s going to be fine, Fiona will be fine” David said, tightening his arms around her.
That was how Ashton saw them when he return.
His blood boiled with jealousy when he saw the possessive way David held Stephanie.
He knew he should try to control himself for the sake of Fiona but he can’t help it.
“Boss, I got….”
“Hang on a sec” Ashton said, cutting Stanley off.
He walk towards Stephanie and David, taking hold of Stephanie hand, he pull her towards him.
“I need to talk to you about Fiona” he said, walking away with Stephanie who was too worried about her daughter to care about anything else.
Stanley took a look at Susan and on seeing her red eyes, he also did the same thing Ashton did.
“What are you doing?” Susan ask as he drag her off.
“Taking you somewhere private to pamper you” he replied.
“Seems like it’s up to us to wait for the doctor ” Stella said to David.
“Are you some kind of stalker?” David ask.
“I’m not! Why will you say that?”
“Cause you keep showing up. Who exactly are you?” David ask.
“I told you that day, right. I am a close friend of Stephanie” Stella said hotly.
“Really?” He ask, doubting her.
“Yes and if you don’t believe me then that’s your problem” Stella said as she made to leave only to walk into someone.
“Oh no! I’m sorry” the lady who collide into Stella apologise but Stella was too busy holding up her flimsy shirt which the lady orange juice had poured on.
“You should wash out the stain, I can….”
“It’s okay. You don’t have to worry, I will handle it” Stella said assuring the woman who left in a rush.
Stella went to the bathroom and rinse off the stain but due to her clothe being flimsy, the wet portion became transparent.
Conscious of her body, Stella walk out of the restroom only to see David waiting for her.
“You fool, why let her go when you can’t handle it”
“It’s none of your business” Stella said fiercely.
“I know it’s none of my business but I can’t ignore a lady in distress” he said pulling off his designer jacket to wear it on her.
Stella found herself standing still while he zip the jacket up,covering her transparent shirt.
“There, all save” he said, smiling at her before walking off.
Stella watch him walk out of sight and slowly, she let out a smile.

“Quit crying. Have waste a whole box of tissue” Stanley said to Susan who kept crying.
“I can’t help it. Each time I think of Fiona, I can’t stop the tears. She doesn’t deserve what is happening to her” Susan said, sobbing.
“So, there’s nothing I can do to stop your tears?”
“Just leave me…..” Susan didn’t get to finish her sentence because Stanley kiss her.
A feeling of excitement course through her and immediately, she took a step back, ending the kiss.
“Why did you do that?”
“It was the only way to stop your tears”
“More like it’s the only way you could think of to show me how selfish you are. How can you do that at a crucial time like this?” Susan threw at him, feeling angry.
“Like I said, I wanted to stop your tears”
“And what does my tears have to do with you?”
“Whether you believe it or not, it means a lot to me”
“If someone heard you say that they might think I mean something to you” Susan said softly.
“You do mean something to me and I’m not ashamed to say it”
“Stanley, you know you and I can’t be”
“Are you saying that because of the age difference or are you saying that because you don’t like me?” Stanley ask, waiting for her answer.
“Look, I’m older than you and….” Stanley kiss her again, cutting her off.
“I don’t care about our age difference, all I know is that I like you” he said when he end the kiss.
“But I don’t. I hope you stop this and let me be” Susan said, her heart hardening against him.
“I can’t do that. I’m too deep in this and I will see it through, I won’t stop until you feel the same way I do” he said getting up.
“Stop crying, I hate it when you do” he added, kissing her briefly on the forehead before leaving the chapel.

“What’s wrong?” Stephanie ask a serious looking Ashton.
“The brake! It isn’t working” Ashton said as he kept stepping on the pedal while driving down the road.
“Do something Ashton or we will die” Stephanie said, scared to wits.
Just then a truck came out of nowhere and In order to get out of it’s way, Ashton turn left which got them driving into a tree leaving the both of them unconscious…….
