I knocked on the door gently and it opened immediately. Stella’s face was all swollen up from too much crying.

We both went inside and we sat down.

“I’m not worthy to look at you after what happened between us.” I said and she laughed for the first time in three months.
“It was your fault okay. And am so sorry. I know no matter how many sorry I say it can’t cover up what I did to you and the worst of it I didn’t believe you.” She said as she placed her hands on my cheek and lifted up my face.
Our eyes met and I couldn’t help but hold her face up in my hands. I brought her face closer and kissed her which she responded almost immediately.
This kiss felt different. I could feel she also missed me all these months. We kissed and went further.
It was already evening and we both sat at the balcony.
“My father called and told me he has found mum. He also said she agreed for them to be together again and it makes me really happy.”
