The party was been held in a house.
Everyone danced to the music been played.
“Why is this place so noisy?.” I asked because I had never attended a night party before.
“Babe that’s how it is.” Stella answered.
“Do you attend night parties often?.” I asked
“Yeah. Many times with my sister.”
I watched as every one was vibing. I wasn’t used to this do I just sat.
A guy walked up to Stella and asked for a dance. I glared at him and he apologised and went away.
Later on we were served drinks and food. I was about to dig in my food when Stella said she wanted to ease herself and told me to follow her.
When we came back Cynthia was just smiling. I wondered what was making her smile. I inspected my food to be sure she hasn’t tampered with it.
The music stopped and everyone stopped dancing and all went to have their seats. While a guy came to the stage and started making jokes.
At that time Stella said she wanted to take some fresh air. I asked if I should follow her but she declined saying she won’t stay long.
“Why didn’t you eat your food again. Do you think I put something inside.” Cynthia said immediately Stella left.
“It’s just I don’t trust you. With your recent actions I have to be careful.” I said.
She just laughed and shifted her gaze to the comedian on stage. My mind wasn’t in the party at all. I was restless from the moment I entered into the building.
I took my glass of coke and sipped on it. Moments later I began feeling dizzy. Oh no sleeping pills.
My eyes was so heavy as I stared at Cynthia she grinned wickedly and that was the last image I saw.
I gruggily opened my eyes to the sun shining directly at my face. I sat up and looked around the room and realized I wasn’t at home.
I took away the bed cover that covered me and found myself nรฅkฤd. I was stunned and then I remembered the sleeping pills in my drink.
One thing for sure has happened Cynthia has done her wish. I hurriedly got up looked for my clothes and put them on.
My heart was pounding heavily. What was I going to tell Stella.
I rushed out of the room and was surprised to still find some people around.
They all began to laugh at me. I ignored them as I had a huge matter to settle.
I came out of the building, waved a taxi, entered and told the driver my destination.
I knocked fearfully on the door when I had gotten home. The door opened and Stella was right in front of me.
She didn’t look happy to see me. She looked at me with disdain.
“At least let me come inside.” I said and she gave way for me to enter. I saw Cynthia sitting on one of the sofa wearing a green top and shorts. She was busy with her phone.
I had underestimated her and now I am close to doom in fact I am doomed.
“Why did you do it.” Stella finally said with a low but harsh tone.
My heart skipped.
“Do what.” I asked.
“Tell me and stop pretending.” She yelled by that time Cynthia dropped her phone and watched us.
“Pls don’t belie…” I was interuppted by Stella as she yelled with frustration written all over her face.
“Why did you sleep with my sister.”
I Just stood lost in thoughts. Then I remembered when Cynthia told me I was going to lose Stella.
“Don’t believe anything she tells you it’s a lie.”
“Are you calling my sister a liar.”
I wonder why she wasn’t angry at Cynthia. Because normally she should also be mad at her sister for sleeping with her boyfriend. I wonder the type of lie Cynthia had told Stella.
I tried telling Stella that it wasn’t my fault. Then she brought out her phone and gave me to see what was in the screen.
What I saw made me wish for the ground to open and swallow me.
