Mummy wa, small small now.

Yinka logged into his bank and was about to send the money to his wife when she received a call. At first, she didn’t want to pick but when the caller won’t stop calling, she had to pick up. She discovered it was Adesuwa’s line and by the time she answered the call, the caller was Adesuwa’s housemaid.
Maid: Aunty, please, you need to come to Reigners Hospital now, My boss is dying
Ranti: Your boss? What happened to her? She sounded fine on the phone yesterday evening while we were discussing
Maid: It’s Uncle Olamide, he stabbed her and escaped.
Ranti: Jesus! This isn’t happening, nothing must happen to my Adesuwa, she has suffered too much to experience this.
Yinka: Babe? Calm down
Ranti: I need to get to Reigners Hospital now, My friend is fighting for her life. Her husband came around yesterday and stabbed her.
Yinka: Jesus! You know what? I am coming with you.
Ranti wasn’t allowed to come close to Adesuwa when she got to the hospital, she only saw her friend from a distance. A look at Adesuwa shows that she was fighting very hard to live. Ranti couldn’t stop crying when she saw the condition her friend was, She met her maid who narrated that Olamide looked harmless when he came around but all of a sudden, all they heard was Adesuwa’s scream, before they got to her room, Olamide fled from the house.
The doctor attending to Adesuwa explained that she was in a critical condition as the instrument which she was stabbed with touched a part of her heart, so Adesuwa’s chance of survival was 50-50. He encouraged Ranti to pray for a miracle as that was what her friend needed. Ranti was further heartbroken, she was afraid to lose someone like Adesuwa. She remembered how Adesuwa had been her savior while they were in school. For two years, Adesuwa paid her tuition when her father lost his job, Adesuwa also fed and clothed her all through those years. She was able to graduate from the University because of Adesuwa’s heart of gold.
Despite Ranti’s pregnancy, she embarked on fasting and prayer on her friend’s behalf, she began to cry to God for mercy for Adesuwa. She promised God that she would do greater exploits for Him if He returned Adesuwa to her. God being faithful, Adesuwa came out of a coma a week after being admitted to the hospital. The doctor handling her case was surprised, it was indeed a miracle. Ranti’s joy knew no bounds, she was the happiest person on earth that day, She ran into her friend’s ward praising God.
Ranti: Babe, you scared us all. I thought I had lost you.
Adesuwas: (smiled weakly) Ranti, why are you disturbing God with your tears?
Ranti: Come on, didn’t you want to live again?
Adesuwa: I was happy in Heaven until you began to disturb God with your tears. Can you please let me be? Mind you, don’t get Olamide arrested, I forgave him before I passed out.
Ranti: Babe, you can’t leave me now.
Adesuwa: Ranti, nothing on earth gives me joy. I have money and material things but I don’t have joy. Isn’t it better to be in Heaven where I feel happy?
Ranti: Adesuwa, please, stop talking this way.
Adesuwa: Heaven is a very beautiful place which is why everyone must strive to get there. Whatever price we have to pay to get there, let us pay it.
Ranti: Adesuwa, don’t leave me
Adesuwa: Dele is now a renowned man of God, he is well known in ten countries and his name is known in Heaven. Tell him to forgive my childish behavior years back and he should continue serving Abba.
