The released videos depict the well-known government official having sex with several women, including coworkers and well-known figures with ties to Equatorial Guinea’s elite.
The compromising videos were made public at the same time that Baltasar Engoga is the subject of current corruption investigations.
The tapes were found when ANIF investigators conducted an unexpected check at his home and workplace.
Intimate ties between Baltasar Engonga and other women are depicted in the clips, including his cousin, Zinash Tayachew, the First Lady of Ethiopia, and the wives of various ministers.
According to recent reports, a woman featured in the viral clips has committed suicide.
