The time is 11pm, but Hazel has no sleep in her eyes.
Maria spent the night in her room tonight, and she’s already fast asleep beside her, but sleep is perfectly eluding her.

He came for her again after what she did, and that almost made her start crying cos she’s aware she doesn’t deserve it at all.
She slowly got down from the bed, making sure she didn’t wake Maria.
She walked to the mirror and checked her neck out
It’s still so red as a result of the chains, and it hurts, but it’d surely reduce before daybreak.
She sat on the chair and opened the table drawer, bringing out the dice bracelet he picked at the cemetery, Kenzie’s bracelet.
It smells like him, and she bit her lip slightly, dropping it to get her phone.
She went online and began searching for HOW TO APOLOGIZE TO A GUY.
She got several suggestions from Google, but they all require money which she doesn’t have.
She opted for the last one… Meal.
She tiptoed out of the annex and slithered into the main mansion.
She successfully entered the kitchen and started trying to make something.

Like a king’s abode, the castle is magnificent and gigantic… it’s a tourism-worthy place cos of the paradisiacal features.
There are several floors, but Thiago himself stays at the penthouse on the last floor.
The lights in that particular floor are still on, and it’s glittering in all it’s richness.
Thiago came out of his house office and met his personal bodyguard waiting in front with a bow.
“Here” he gave him a woman’s picture, and the guard took it.
“Her name?” He asked respectfully.
“No idea, I met her once 19 years ago. Find her” Thiago replied, and the guard bowed again
“Yes boss”
He left the penthouse, and Thiago made a slow walk show to the living room.
He turned on the TV and grimaced when Hugo Torrance came on screen with his political allies and the president.
“Hugo…long time no see” Thiago smiled lethally.

NEXT MORNING, AMBER’S PLACE*
The band will be releasing their comeback album unfailingly next month, and practices start this week
Hope is the songwriter, and after working with the team for several nights, she submitted the lyrics last night.
Amber came downstairs feeling refreshed with the cold morning breeze.
Surprisingly, she met Penny sitting downstairs already, watching TV.
She even served herself some juice, placing her legs on the center table.
“Hey what do you think you’re going?” Amber smirked, and she stood with a large smile.
“Aren’t we besties? You said I could come anytime. Good morning” she said, and Amber scoffed.
“Amber!” Katherine rushed in suddenly, startling them.
“What’s up? why the rush?” Amber asked fast.
“Cole is missing, and his parents were found dead in a slum this morning with their five protectors!” Katherine wailed, and Amber gasped.

TORRANCE ESTATE, KITCHEN*
Hazel was even unaware of when the day broke.
She had slept off in the kitchen after several efforts to make an apology meal for Kenzie last night.
Lee came into the kitchen and smiled when he saw her asleep with her head on the island.
He got a canned drink from the freezer and placed it on her cheek .
She woke up with a jump, and he laughed.
“Whoa! You made a lot!” He said, looking at the food tray on the island.
Hazel quickly went to check the steamed ribs on fire, and she smiled when she saw it’s cooked already.
She served it and placed it on the tray with the other meals.
“Who’s all that for?” Lee asked.
“Secret” she replied, leaving the mansion.
She was on her way to the second mansion when she saw Kenzie in front of it already.
He’s not alone though, he’s with a vet doctor who brought him a dog, and the cute blonde dog is busy jumping on him and like they’ve known each other for a long time.
Kenzie has a large smile on his face, and she could swear it’s the first time she saw him smiling genuinely.
It looks freaking good on him.
The doctor eventually left, and Kenzie took the dog to the annex surprisingly.
Hazel followed, and he climbed a staircase which led to the annex rooftop.
It’s where Maria washes at whenever she wants to do hand-wash clothes.
There are several clothesline there too, for drying.
Kenzie settled on a bench, and the dog kept , crying happily.
He stroked it’s fur fondly, and that was when he sighted Hazel.
He looked up, and she almost froze, but she gulped and moved closer, avoiding his eyes till he got to him and dropped the food tray beside him on the bench.
She stood straight, straightened her skirt and blinked countlessly.
“I… I’m…
“Don’t” he cut her off sharply, and their eyes met.
“Huh?”
“Just do what you fuçking want, Hazel. Anytime you say sorry, you end up upgrading to a worse level” he replied uninterested, and she felt her chest slinging as he stood.
He started taking the dog away, and she quickly blocked him, his height covering hers completely.
“I… I mean it this time. If I behave like a dummy again, throw me away and do anything you want. I’m really very sorry, for the slaps. I’ll change, I promise” she said in a rush, and he sighed.
“And… thanks for saving me last night. I won’t ever take it for granted again” she said, and when his blank face still persisted, she smiled awkwardly.
“I hope you enjoy the…food.” She said and turned at once.
She might start stuttering again if she says more.
She got the biggest shock of the year when she was suddenly pulled back, and in the next minute, she was in Kenzie’s arms.
He hugged her so fuçking tight, and she lost all of her air immediately.
Did he just…
“You smell like salad” he whispered.
“I spent all night in the kitchen” she replied, and he tightened the hug.
She smiled and raised her hands to the back of his neck, wrapping them there before standing on her toes so the hug deepened so much.
Meanwhile, Anna is watching from the stairs…she actually trailed Hazel here.
She folded her fists tight, and her nails dug into her palm in the process.
She waltzed back to the main mansion, her gown flowing behind her till she opened her room door and stepped in.
She picked a heels shoe from her rack and threw it at the mirror, smashing it.
She got her phone and unlocked it.
Kenzie is the home screen wallpaper with several hearts surrounding him.
She smashed the phone too and started crying, holding her head with two hands
“Hazel…not you, at all”
