Juliet’s Pov
I called my bestie Evelyn and told her about everything, then asked her to come over, so we might figure out what exactly what to do, she agreed to.
When she came, she told me to get the sex video tape from Drake as an evidence to prove Evans guilty.
We both got the sex video tape from Drake the following morning in the hospital.
After that we went to the US Police Station and tender our report.
The police accompanied us to his apartment. When we got there, he was taking his shower.
We sat down and waited for him to finish whatever he was doing. After which he came out with a towel across his waist.
He was flabbergasted when he saw the police awaiting him, in the living room.
He was about to run away, but a gallant police sergeant quickly got hold of him.
Evans’ Pov
It was like a nightmare to me, when the US police force arrested me in my apartment.
They couldn’t even listen to my statement. They took me into their van and straight me to the station.
When we arrived at the station, I was taken to the counter, where they brought out a cellphone and played a sex video tape.
After playing the video, they asked who was raping the lady in the video.
It was crystal clear that the male gender riding on the horse was me. I had an intention to deny, but it was too late for me to do so.
“Do you recognize the lady in the video?”, A sergeant asked.
“Ye… yes sir, I know her”, I replied stuttering.
“Why did you rape her?”, the sergeant inquired.
This was the question I never dreamed of answering or giving the source of the rape.
I didn’t say anything. He was still staring at me and he repeated the question again.

I couldn’t bear the pains any longer.
“Sir, someone paid me to carry out the rape”, I said groaning in pains.
“Who paid you to raped her?”, the sergeant asked.
“It is a guy who asked her out a year ago, but she didn’t accept the proposal. So the guy was envious when he heard she was in a relationship with someone else. He had to use me, since I was her boyfriend’s best friend to terminate their relationship”, I elucidated.
After divulging the source of the rape to the sergeant, he asked me the name of my client.
“Jeremy is the person who paid me”, I responded.
They dragged me and took me to the cell.
Juliet’s Pov
When I heard this, my heart marvelled. How could Jeremy do this to me?
He was my course mate in college, he had been crushing on me. I was surprised at an occasion were he asked me out.
I rejected his proposal, but we were still flocking together like a sheep with their shepherd.
“I never knew he could be so heartless to do this to me”, I told Evelyn my bestie.
“I know how you feel best, but this is not the time to remember all this memories. It’s the time for you to seek for vengeance not thinking of memories”, she said to me.
“Yes bestie your saying the right thing, let us go after Evans’ client, I mean your college crush”, I said to her.
The police took us in their van and we were heading for Jeremy’s arrest.
Jeremy’s Pov
I was with my friends chilling and having fun, when a police van drove into the premises.
Two sergeants came out of the van, with a gun approaching our table.
When they came up to the table, they asked me to follow them. I stood up like a gentleman just to avoid being harassed by them.
Approaching the van, they dragged me to into it and I did without hesitation.
When we get to the station, they took me to the counter and began interviewing me about the rape of Juliet, my college crush.
I denied that I knew nothing about the rape. It was there and then, I saw Evans with a handcuff coming out of the cell.
Goose pimples appeared all over my body at this point.
“My secret has been divulged”, I muttered to myself.
“Do you know this man here?”, a sergeant asked.
“Yes I do, his name his Evans”, I said.
“That is good of you. Evans tell him what you told us”, the next sergeant said compelling.
“Jeremy paid me to rape Juliet his crush, for the fact that he wants to terminate his relationship with her boyfriend Drake”, Evans elucidated.
I had nothing to fall back on this time around.
The police struck me with a baton on my head and I yelped.
Suddenly, I saw Juliet coming out of a room with a lady, I didn’t know who the lady was.
“Jeremy how could you do this to me? What have I done wrong to deserve this?”, Juliet bawled.
“Please I’m sorry my crush, it was the devil that pushed me to do all that”, I said.
“Tell me why, why did the devil make you concoct all this time evil plot about me?”, she inquired again.
“I was jealous of your relationship with Drake. I planned to terminate it because you didn’t accept my proposal back then in college”, I uttered gently.
“Just look at yourself. A person who has been helping you in college when you lack. Instead of you paying her with good deeds, but on the contrary this is what you did. People like you don’t deserve to be loved and cared for”, the lady with her said to me.
Then they all went out of the room, and the police took Evans and I into
the cell.
