“Thank you.” I said to the taxi man that helped me with my luggages. I sat in the taxi looking around me.

“To where Miss?” The driver asked.
“Oh sorry.” I said bringing out the phone from the bag.
“Here.” I said showing him the address Peter sent to me on phone.
“Sit back and enjoy your ride Ma’am.” He said and I nodded smiling.

I looked around grinning widely. I can’t wait for Peter to come visiting. I am missing him already.
I picked up my phone to put a call across to him.

I climbed down the car and the taxi driver helped me with my luggages.

Peter already credited my account with some amount of money that could last me for more than two weeks.
The driver zoomed off and I kept staring down the street not knowing where to go. I took my phone again and looked at the address.
“Nikky?” I heard someone ask making me look up.
“Yes. Good day.” I said trying to see if I could recognize the woman.
“I am Delilah, Peter’s friend.” She said and I nodded.
“Oh he contacted you.” I said smiling and she nodded.
“Yes. He told me you were coming so he asked me to prepare your apartment.” She said walking away and I followed behind her.
“Let me help with your bag.” She said carrying one of them.
“Thank you.” I said in relieve.
Soon we got to a bungalow and she walked towards the door.
“So you will be living here….” She said opening the door and walking in.
“Alone?” I asked and she nodded.
“Yes. Alone. Any problem with that?” She asked and I shook my head.
“Not at all. It’s just going to be a little boring. Peter is coming not until weekend.” I said and she scoffed.
“He told you he will be visiting?” She asked looking at me.
“Yes. Why?” I asked looking at her.
“Son of a b**ch.” She mumbled.
“What’s going on?” I asked and she smiled.
“It’s nothing. It’s just that,he haven’t come to Los Angeles for a very long time now, and he should have but he didn’t. I guess he likes you so much, to think of coming.” She said and I smiled.
“Yeah.” I replied looking around the house.
“So I guess you will be good here right?” She asked and I nodded.
“Yes…. But wait… Did he tell you about any shop? Like an art gallery next to the road?” I asked and she smiled.
“Oh yes he told me. I almost forgot. It’s some houses to this place. You want to see it now?” She asked and I nodded.
“I would love to. I will come to the house later. Can’t wait to start painting.” I said picking up my sweater from my bag and putting it on.
“At least you should put your bag in the room and change your boots. You won’t need those anymore.” She said and I smiled.
“Thanks Dililah.” I said rushing into the room with my bag. The room was huge and beautiful too..
Wow Peter is the best. He made sure I will be comfortable around here.
I removed my boots and wore my casual sandals. Changed my top and wore another which was quite perfect for the happy moment.
“I am set to…..” I said walking to the living room to see Dililah talking to someone on the phone she looked very angry.
“Are you insane! She is still a young woman!.” She whispered as I walked closer.
“Are you okay?” I asked making her jump in fear.
“You startled me.” She said throwing her phone in the pockets of her Jean Trousers.
“Am sorry. I didn’t mean to.” I said smiling faintly.
“It’s fine. We should move now. Are you set?” She asked and I nodded.
“As set as ever. This as always been my dream.” I said and she looked at me and stared for some seconds before moving away.
“I am happy for you.” She said and I nodded as we headed outside.
“Why is she acting so weird?” I asked myself as we both walked down the streets.
“Here we are.” She said moving from my front a little.
“OMG, this is so beautiful.” I said as tears heat my eyes.
“You like it hun?” She said folding her hands.
“I love it. It’s amazing, exactly the way I pictured it right from the beginning.” I said running to the door.
“The keys.” I said happily and she threw them to me. I caught it and used it to open the door.
I stood in front of the door happily before running inside it.
It was stocked with painting equipments already, the frames to display them. Lights to make them colorful and shinning. Loads of paints.
“Woah.” I said as teara dropped down my eyes. This is a dream come true for me.
