“What the hell Jake?” Julia coughed as she left her room. Jake was putting on an apron and oxygen mask, trying to cook but things were failing judging from the black smokes everywhere.
“Why are you up, I was going to bring you breakfast in bed” He said, taking an egg to break but when it touched the pan, he ran backwards.
Julia can’t help but laugh. She rolled her eyes and turned off the cookers then opened the windows so the smoke could go off.
“You don’t have to try too hard Jake. I’m okay if I don’t get breakfast in bed” Julia gave him a weak smile.
Jake took the oxygen mask he was wearing off.
“I just want this to be perfect” He lets out a sigh.
“It’s already perfect Jake,, you’re alive and you’re here with me” Julia smiled thankfully. After the surgery went well, they decided to forget everything and start over.
“Come here then” Jake moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. “I love you,” He said.
“I love you too” Julia smiled and tiptoed to kiss his lips.

“No that’s not true” Julia chuckled as they both moved to the chair. A knock at the door interrupted their lovey dovey, making them groan.
“I’ll go get it” Jake planted a kiss on Julia’s forehead before going to get the door. When it opened, it revealed Martha and he closed it back.
“Jake please” Martha begged.
Jake rolled his eyes and opened the door.
“What do you want now?” He asked with a frown.
“I know I promised to live and I will but I want you to meet someone” She said.
“Who?” He was still frowning, crossing his arms on his chest as he watched her.
Martha pressed her lips together before moving sideways, exposing a familiar man to Jake’s view. Jake’s eyes widened, isn’t that bad.
“Please Jake, I know you’re angry with your dad but he really misses you. I will be gone to work on myself. Let your dad take care of you Jake” Martha begged but Jake shook his head.
“All my life, I’ve been doing fine without a dad and I still can. I don’t need the both of you” He replied harshly and closed the door.
“Jake” Julia rubbed his shoulders. “I know you’re angry at them but before you make mistakes. Where will the hate take you too?” Julia tried talking to him.
“He hasn’t been around for years and he suddenly shows up and thinks he can be a father to me. It’s not possible” Jake shook his head. “I think I need time to process all these,” Jake sighed.
“I agree with you. Don’t speak to him now, just talk to him whenever you’re ready” Julia said softly and Jake nodded, coming to the conclusion that he would think everything through.
“So…” Julia mumbled.
“So what?” He gave her a knowing smile.
“You ruined breakfast,” she said.
“Did I?” Jake tried to look oblivious.
“Yes,” Julia nodded.
“I do have other plans for breakfast,” Jake said.
“What?” She asked.
“Come closer and I’ll show you”
Julia moved closer to him and he lifted her up, wrapping her legs around his torso as he took her to the kitchen counter.
“What are you doing?” Julia asked in a whisper.
“You said breakfast was ruined but I don’t think so. How about I eat you for breakfast?” He smirked at her and went for her neck.

The door to the physiotherapy office open. Bryan and Rico came out with a tired look.

The girl looked up and her eyes widened. She immediately rushed towards them.
“Are you Aime?” She asked but didn’t wait for Aime to reply before jumping. “Oh my God you are Aime, you wrote this book I’m reading!!” She jumped happily.
“I did” Aime answered with a huge smile, she’s trying to maintain her composure when all she wants is to jump and scream right now.
“Can you sign my copy? Can I get a picture? Can I!!!!” The fan was so excited to talk.
“I will” Aime replied and collected the girl’s pen then signed the book.
The last brought out her phone and gave it to Bryan. “Do you mind taking our picture?” She asked.
Bryan smiled proudly. “Sure” He took the phone and snapped their picture.
“Thank you, can I hug you?” She asked Aime one last time. Aime nodded and the lady hugged her tight before screaming and running away.
Aime faced Bryan.
“I’m sorry she ignored you” She muttered.
“Fuck that babe! Someone loved your book” Bryan held her shoulders and shook her. Aime couldn’t pretend anymore.
“Someone loves my work!!!” She screamed and jumped on Bryan’s arm. He lifted her up and spun her happily, after a while of celebrating, he put her down and cupped her cheeks.
“I’m so happy for you cookie” He mumbled.
“Bryan” Aime called his name and he looked at her. “I think I’m ready to tell my parents I don’t want to be a doctor anymore” She mumbled.
“You sure?” Bryan asked.
“Let the worst happen, I’m already a winner for taking this bold move” She said.
Bryan smiled and hugged her tight.
“I’m very proud of you my love” He mumbled.
“I love you so much Bryan,” Aime smiled.
“Much more darling” He pulled her close and pressed his lips on hers.
“Hey!!! Get a room you too” Rico passed then while holding Sydney’s hand as he gave them a disgusting look.
“What the hell?” Bryan looked confused and Aime could only just laugh. She grabbed his arms and led him to the car so they could both go home.
