“Urgghhhhh!!!!” An earth-shaking shriek fell from Sasha’s mouth, and blood was already bathing her before she crumbled with wide, shocked eyes.

The students are all laying low for safety, Zinnia inclusive.

Alyssa aimed for Sasha again, but disappointedly, there’s no bullet in the gun anymore.

“Lucky you” she muttered then catwalked slowly to where Sasha is lying.

Her blood is painting the marbled ground already, and her bleeding kept getting worse from her middle.

She couldn’t move, even her open mouth couldn’t say anything. She’s powerless and helpless.

Alyssa squatted beside her and got her phone, then she began making a video.

“Hey Sasha… Got anything to say in your last moment?” She asked with a grin,… Sasha gasped for breath.

Alyssa zoomed the camera on her pale face…

“You shouldn’t have touched Hardin at all” she said, slapping Sasha’s cheek, hard.

Students gasped again, and Sasha spilled blood from her mouth.

“Eew!” Alyssa frowned, then Killian rushed in with Alice and the boys.

“I knew it” Alice muttered.

“Heck! Alyssa!” Killian snapped, and she stood.

“Are you mad at me cos i ruined your chance of killing her yourself? Torture till maggots cover her body before she dies? Well I’m not a very patient person, kill-boy” she said.

“Get her body out” Jordan told the guards.

“Not so soon” Killian replied, retrieving another gun.

He went closer to Sasha and aimed for her heart. Sasha’s eyes widened on the floor despite her weakness.

“P… pl…

She tried to beg, but that got terminated when he fired her chest.

Students screamed horrifically as the cold hands of death finally gripped Sasha.

Black blood trickled out of her mouth, and she gave up right there.

“Take her body to her father’s clan” Killian ordered, and the school guards took action immediately.

Killian led the way out of the circle while the rest of the Alphas followed him behind.

Zinnia quickly hid behind a student, but that wasn’t enough to cover her.

Killian saw her, and she gulped when their eyes met.

His eyes darted to her plastered knees and muffled neck, and he felt a stiff in his chest, but he brushed it off before shifting his gaze away from her.

They finally left, and the students finally were able to breathe.

“Come here puppy” Karen widened her arms, and Zinnia hugged her for comfort while Priyanka and Sunny patted her back… Britney stroked her hair.

“Am I interrupting?” Bruno’s voice came, and they had to break the bond and face him.

“I’ll call you girls when I get home” Zinnia told them.

“Sure, stay safe boo!” Britney blew her kisses, and she smiled as they went for the elevator.

Zinnia walked out of the skyscraper with Bruno, straight to the park.

“You’re gonna drive me home?” She asked.

“I drove you here so it’s only normal I drive you back” he replied.

“But the classes…

“There’s only one class and it’s 12 to 1. Hop in!” He opened the car door for her, and she couldn’t help but remember Killian’s eyes from earlier.

He used to do this too.

Sadly, she entered the car, and Bruno drove her out of the school.

Alyssa drove a cart containing many bouquet of tulip flowers into Hardin’s ward, and immediately she saw him lying in bed, she gasped.

“Gawd! It’s so strange to see him lying down without fúcking or partying or updating his IG! What’s Hardin without fun!” She said dramatically, taking out the flowers one by one to surround his bed with.

“Yunno he’s not dead, right?” Alice said, coming in with the boys

“Hardin is practically dead like this unless he wakes up! My social butterfly!” Alyssa started crying.

“Stop it, anyone would know they’re fake tears” Zade scoffed.

“Am I that obvious? I guess my acting skills are faltering” Alyssa muttered, wiping her tears.

“Shadow Princess is fúcking with us” Jordan said, staring at the new post on the blog.

“Wait till I get my hands on whoever the fûck it id” Killian replied, and then Aurora came in in the company of maids.

“Mother dearest!” Alyssa gushed.

“mes pêches (my peaches)” she widened her arms, and the twins hugged her together.

“Missed you mother” Alice said.

“Me too…” Alyssa added.

“What did you do, Alyssa?” Aurora asked, breaking the hug.

“I guess you heard about my little hunt… She deserved it…ion even care if she’s your friend’s daughter. I’ve always wanted to kill her since she did that to Jordan” Alyssa replied.

“Alyssa” Aurora stroked her cheeks.

“Mooother, just chill ok? Malachi believes we’re useless, and he sent us away cos of that. I’m only proving him wrong” she flared her nose, and Aurora faced Alice.

“Mother you should know no amount of words can penetrate into that hard head of hers” Alice said, and Alyssa grinned.

A faint sound came from Hardin’s bedside, and they all turned to that direction.

Hardin’s eyes is open already, though slightly, and he’s staring at them.

“Dude!” Killian was the first to get beside him.

“Are you ok?” Zade asked.

“Can you talk?” Jordan asked.

“Honey” Aurora stroked his hair.

“Don’t tell me you’re still gonna close those eyes” Alyssa said.

“Hey brother! ” Alice smiled.

He kept staring wordlessly.

Alice rang the emergency bell, and three doctors entered the ward to check on him.

“No unnecessary talks, please. He needs the rest… We’ll still have to sedate him in an hour” one of them said.

“Sure, thanks doctor” Aurora replied, and they left the ward.

“Hey buddy! C’mon say something!” Alyssa waved.

“Did you…did you bring these burial flowers?” Hardin finally talked, tightening his face.

“Yes!” Alice gushed.

“Thank gawd” Jordan smiled.

“Fûcker welcome back” Zade said.

“You want anything?” Killian asked.

“Stop pretending to be caring” Hardin replied.

“Fûck you” Killian gave him two middle fingers.

“Honey” Aurora stroked his hair again.

“Mother dearest… How long have I been out?” He replied.

“Not up to 24 hours, glad you’re back to me” she smiled.

“I’ll pretend you didn’t just call my flowers burial flowers” Alyssa crossed her arms.

“Get them away, I hate the smell, girl!” Hardin frowned.

“Not happening!” Alyssa glared

“This is why I’ll never like you” Hardin said.

“Same here! Same!” Alyssa rolled eyes, and Aurora chuckled.

“I’ll snap a picture” Alyssa got her phone, and everyone got their faces in the camera .

She adjusted her hair before snapping them…

“Kill-boy you still don’t like showing your face in pictures? Laughing out loud! ” Alyssa rolled eyes.

“One more disrespectful word from you,… ” Killian warned.

“Fineee” Alyssa groaned.

“Get these flowers out please” Hardin said again.

“But they smell nice!” Alyssa picked one and placed it on Hardin’s face.

“Alyssa!” He choked.

Alice quickly removed the bouquet while Zade and Jordan grabbed Alyssa’s arms.

They started dragging her out of the ward.

“Y’all stop pretending to love him more than I do! Hardin you know the truth! We’re the closest buddies in this family! Hardin!!!!” Alyssa was screaming dramatically till she was completely out.

“You should have come back alone Alice, why did you bring this troublemaker?” Hardin said.

“She’d kill me” Alice replied and faced Killian.

“Need to go see my babies at the cottage. I missed my binoculars and Polaroids so much! ” She said.

“Will meet you there” Killian said.

Alice gave Hardin and Aurora a peck on the cheek before leaving the ward.

“I’ll stay with him” Aurora told Killian.

“Later, bro” Killian told Hardin.

“I love you” Hardin smiled.

“Yuck! Please” Killian squeezed his brows, and Hardin grinned lightly as he walked out of the ward

He entered a washroom and got himself a cigar to lighten.

His right knuckles are bandaged cos of the wound from the mirror punch though.

He was about to turn on the lighter when Jordan came in to smoke too.

“Co-smoker” Jordan joined him with a short chuckle.

“Zade?” Killian asked.

“He went for snacks with Alyssa” Jordan replied, and Killian nodded.

“About Zinn…” Jordan started.

“No” Killian replied curtly.

“Dude you can’t keep this up. I saw your signature on her body earlier in school. She was wearing a muffler around her neck, meaning you choked her, and her knees were plastered. She obviously fell or something” Jordan replied.

“And?” Killian asked, secretly folding his fist.

“If it were another girl, you know I’d kill her myself. Even if I don’t, Zade would clear her easily, but she’s still breathing cos we know how much she means to you and how much Hardin cherishes her” Jordan said.

“She means nothing to me” Killian replied, still folding his fist.

“Then maybe I and Zade can visit her tonight and clear her” Jordan said.

“Shut that mouth” Killian muttered, and Jordan smiled.

“It’s so easy to lie to yourself, let’s see how long you’d be able to take it” he said and finally lightened his cigar.

Killian gave up on smoking and walked out of the room.
